He moved like a lifeless body when the officers dragged him mercilessly. He didn't speak a word.

How can he? When his whole life shattered within few seconds.

He was in a daze. It's beyond his imagination that someone could be that much evil to play with his emotions like that.

Anurag chuckled humourlessly when the officers kicked him inside the jail.

He stood motionless. He is not even feeling any pain. Because he is numb.

Sometimes the pain is too much to feel. It automatically shuts the sensation. Right now he felt just like that.

His 13 years love has ruined him beyond repair.

The officers bind his legs and arms and hang him upside down. His head is paining.

Then one after one lashing came on his back. He understood that it's all planned. The officers are just performing because they have been bribed by someone.

Anurag clattered his teeth to suppress his painful groans. They kept on beating and cursing him.

He didn't even remember when they stopped. But he clearly felt that he is bleeding. The scars he got today is nothing compared to the scars of his inside.

His aunty and Tiya came infront of the bar. They cried furiously after seeing his bleeding state. They were literally begging to the officers to stop.

"Get out old bitch....if you want him out of the jail, then arrange a lawyer"- one of the officer said.

"I have no money....please I'm begging you leave my son...look I'm giving you this....this is made of gold....my husband gave this to me...."

This time a lone of tear escaped from Anurag's eyes when he found aunt begging to the officers like that.

He felt like to chock himself after seeing his aunt's state. This woman always protected him and gave motherly love and what he gave her in return?

This humiliation?

"Aunty, go away....I'm fine"- he spoke finally.

His voice is not coming out.

Kalindi cried more. She hold the bar.

"Don't worry Anu....I'm here...i will do something...."- she cried so much.

Anurag also smiled in pain. He deserves this actually. He never understood the difference between true love and fake love. He always ran after a deceptive mirage. Today he got the reality check.

Tiya on the other side came outside unable to bear the state of his brother. She cried out by holding her mouth. Her heart is breaking so much.

She found a officer and grabbed his feet.

"Please sir...save him....please...I'm begging you...."- she cried and hiccuped.

The officer held her arms and picked her up.

"Don't cry....i will do something....meet me in this address, okay"- he unexpectedly spoke so softly.

Tiya stared at him with shock. She never expected that someone will talk to her that much gently and will also agree to help her. She smiled and thanked him multiple times.

Kalindi came out and Tiya immediately ran towards her.

"Aunty, one of the officer offered to help....bhai will be fine....."- she said to him.

Kalindi was not finding a way. She stared at Tiya with lots of hope.

"Aunty, inform Siva bhai too....and also Inaya....I'm sure, they will help bhai"

Kalindi took a relaxed breathe finally. That girl Inaya will surely help Anurag.

She decided to see that girl while Tiya decided to meet that officer.

As soon as Inaya heard the news, she immediately arranged a lawyer and went to the police station to complete the procedure of bail.

Inaya and her father did their best to took out Anurag from the jail. When he came out, Inaya broke out in sobs after seeing his battered state.

Inaya's father, Mr. Sourav Thakur also closed his eyes after seeing his state. He stared at the officers in anger. He makes a mental note to find out the whole truth. Someone bribed them for sure to beat this innocent man like this.

"We should go to the hospital"- Sourav thakur told Inaya.

"Yes, papa..."- Inaya held Anurag's hand and again she cried out in pain. She can't stand Anurag's state.

While Anurag was standing with a blank face. He is not feeling anything.

They took him to the hospital for treating his wound.

But little did they know about his wound. Some wounds can never be healed.

Anurag's pov

Inaya helped me to seat into the sofa. We reached our apartment few minutes back.

I don't know where is Tiya and aunty. I got tensed about them. So, i was about to ask about them but then they entered with Siva.

I raised my eyes to find Tiya wrapped around Aunty's arms. I immediately stood up after sensing something is wrong.

"What happened?"- i almost screamed.

"Nothing....you should take rest"- Siva said with a blank tone.

But i understood something is very very wrong. I walked near Tiya and held her firmly. She flinched.

"What happened?"- i asked her with a shaky tone.

Her lips quivered and she broke into my arms completely.

"He molested me bhai...."- she cried so much.

"Who?"- my patience is gone completely.

"That officer...he..he..offered me..to..help..."- she spoke while sobbing and hiccuping.

The tremendous rage made me absolutely blind. I felt a convulsing fire inside me which i never felt before. I felt like to destroy every single thing around me. I decided then and there to kill that officer even if it cause me a life sentence.

But Siva and Inaya held me tightly, stopping me to go out. I applied all my strength and jerked them both but this time my aunt also blocked my way.

"If you take one leg outside, i will kill myself just like your father"- aunty's calm and composed voice stopped me.

I stared at her. Her lips are quivering so much. Her eyes are puffy. She is looking absolutely disheveled.

"You don't know the whole truth yet...let me show you"

She went inside the bedroom and came out a while by holding a paper in her hand.

"She is pregnant with Atharv's child....this is the report..."

Ground slipped beneath my feet. I just stared at her with utter shock.

"I don't know from how long she is cheating on you....i guess it was a long term plan just to destroy your life"- she said calmly yet with so much hate.

"She has given the keys to Atharv....he stole everything and now he is planning to frame you"- inaya said this.

"I knew this bitch for a long time, i have always warned you but you never ready to listen"- Siva said.

"And look what Tiya faced today....do you think that she will ever able to recover from this pain??? Thank god that i reached on right time....otherwise she has been raped today"- Siva yelled out.

I sat on the sofa by holding my head. It's paining so much. I can only see darkness around me. My whole existence is shaking and ready to break.

"Hold yourself Anu....."- aunty placed her hand on my shoulder.

"Inaya will help us....we will win the case against them, don't worry beta...you can't break like this"- aunty sat infront of me.

I stood up and walked out of the house.

I felt the extreme pain in my chest. My head is throbbing and ready to burst any moment.

Hate, lies, deception these all are the reality.
