Rajveer's pov

I blinked my eyes few times. My head is paining a lot. I find myself in a hospital. I got up instantly.

"Sir, what are you doing? Lay down..."

The doctor told me.

"How have i came here?"

I asked with a scrunched face. Why my head is feeling so heavy?

"Sir, you are still under the effect of sedatives....you need rest..A girl bring you here...she is waiting outside..."

My eyes widened and then i remembered the thing that happened to me.

I saw a girl. I can very well remember her face. After seeing her I lost my conscious. My head was not working that moment. I felt strange. I can't explain in words what I felt when I saw her. I have to find her in anyway. I'm sure she is related to my past.

"Call her inside...I want to see her.."

I spoke desperately.

"But sir you...."

"Just do what I told... don't irritate me"

I was getting impatient. The doctor looked at me strangely.

"This is a hospital, you can't behave like this..."

Within a second my men entered. They bowed down their heads infront of me. The doctor is looking more confused.

"He is the owner sir...."

One of my men told the doctor and he immediately turned his face towards me in extreme shock.

"Maharaj... I'm sorry sir.. I'm extremely sorry"

He started to apologise.

"It's okay sir..I should have say sorry for my behaviour..."

I apologised.

"You are the owner..not me.. because you are the real backbone of this hospital"

I smiled and shook my hands with the doctor. He is looking a bit tensed but he also reciprocated the smile.

"I'm calling the girl...Nurse, bring that girl inside.."

My heart started to beat like crazy. What is happening to me. I remembered the moment when I saw her chasing the kite.  Why she also got shocked after seeing me?

I saw someone entering the room. Strangely I fixed my hair like a fool. I'm feeling so nervous.

"Sir..she is the one who brought you here"

I looked eagerly and my all excitement vanished when I saw the girl.

She is not the one!

This girl is someone else.

"You bring me here?"

"Yes Raajasaab"

The girl is blushing so much.

"You fell unconscious...I held you and bring you here..."

She is expecting some reply from me but I felt extremely restless.

She is not the girl, I'm damn sure. I can never forget that face.

"Before you, someone else was there..have you seen someone?"

I asked this girl.

"No sir..I haven't seen anyone...you were lying under the tree, surrounded by some slum kids..I have rescued you"

I sat on the bed. The girl ran away probably. But how someone can be that much coward and leave an unconscious man like this!

The girl was continuously talking. I signalled my men to take her away. I should have thanked her, I know that but I'm not feeling well.

The face flashed in my mind. The face was something else. I want to see her again and again. Those eyes, that forehead, those cute cheeks, that small nose and most importantly that petite appearance!

"Sir,,,can you offer me a job? I'm desperately searching for a job.."

I looked at the girl being displeased. Still nodded my head a bit.

"You can contact my men...they will help you"

"But sir, I want you to give me a job after seeing my qualifications..."

This time I raised my hand and stopped her.

"Miss....."

"My name is Sona..."

"Yes, Ms Sona...thank you very much for saving my life... I'm really grateful to you and I'm assuring you that I will surely give you a reputed job..."

I said forcefully just to make this girl leave. She smiled broadly and thanked me multiple times before leaving.

I took a deep breathe. I immediately decided to visit that place again. May be I can find that girl. She probably stays around the slum.

I hurriedly took my jacket and dashed out of the hospital. I reached the area and looked everywhere. I asked those slum kids and went inside every home but not a single trace of her came in my view. I was feeling so helpless. Why I even fell unconscious? I beat my head in irritation.

I came back being defeated in the evening. After reaching my mansion, I find Rohini.

"Rohini...is everything fine?"

I asked in tension. I hope Kukku is fine.

"We need your help Rajveer..I mean I need your help...Kukku is dying...Please help us....Pratap will never agree but I'm a mother..I can't see my daughter dying infront of my eyes..."

I immediately grabbed Rohini's hand. I never like when a woman beg or cry. This pained my heart always.

"Rohini, you just have to order me..why are you crying and begging? I'm your brother...I have a responsibility for Kukku too...I promise, Kukku will be fine...go and pack your bags...I will take you both in Kashi...you will stay in my mansion...I will bring the best doctors for Kukku's treatment"

I assured her.

Rohini cried by hanging her head.

"My parents always misunderstood you Veer...They always misbehaved with your family but you are...helping me..."

I pat Rohini's head slightly.

"How can I forget our childhood days? When everything was just fine between our families... remember how you always pulled my legs by referring me as a big langur of Kashi...Those days were beautiful....."

This time Rohini smiled and wiped her tears. I felt happy after seeing her relaxed.

"I will leave tomorrow for Kashi...go and pack"

I said to her.

"Veer, will you mind if I bring someone else with me?"

I looked at her in confusion.

"Prachi...she stays with us...Kukku is very close to Prachi..Kukku will be happy if Prachi stays around her"

I clenched my jaw. This is Pihu! She is talking about Pihu. It will be good if Pihu come with us. It will help me to dig out the truth.

"Yeah sure..take her..I have no issue"

"Thank you Veer.."

Rohini left after that.

I decided to follow her this time. I reached at Rohini's home. I was sitting inside the car. I saw Rohini entering her house. I waited outside of her house. I will wait here like that. I won't leave today. I know Pihu will not agree to come with her. She knows that she is the main culprit. She will surely make excuses.

I sat there for hours, looking at Rohini's gate. Suddenly it started to rain. At the same time I saw someone walking towards the main gate. She is holding the umbrella. I immediately retreated down the window of my car and looked eagerly outside.

I can't see her face due to the umbrella. I cursed mentally. Suddenly i find her walking towards the garden. She bent and rescued a small kitten from the bushes. She held it gently on her hand and this time her umbrella fell from her hand.

My breathing stopped for few second when her face got revealed infront my eyes.

She is the same kite girl!

My mouth gaped in shock and my whole body felt something very uneasy. My stomach went light and my heart sped up abnormally.

She held the kitten carefully and hide her on her chest. She is patting the kitten carefully and mumbling something.

I kept on staring at her being amazed. I failed to take my eyes off her. She held the umbrella and walked inside the house.

Then my trance broke.

Still my heart is beating like crazy. She is Pihu! My mind is absolutely messed up now. Everything is appearing so blurr. Only her face is taking over my senses.

I came back at my mansion in a drool. I took a long shower. I leaned on the wall. Only her face kept appearing in my mind.

When she ran after the kite, when she held the kitten carefully, When the umbrella fell from her hand. Everything kept on roaming in my mind and gave me shivers. I want to see her from close. I want to hear her voice.

I felt utterly guilty for having such thoughts about her. I'm engaged to Myra right? But a single glance of that girl, blew my everything.

How can I think like that? Pihu is the culprit. She planned my parents death.

No it's not possible. That innocent and petite girl can never do something so vile. She looked way too innocent for this world.

What is wrong then? Who is misguiding me?

I came out by draping a towel. I held my phone and called Rohini.

Rohini picked up the call instantly.

"Yes Veer....I have packed everything"

"Good...umm...did she agree? That girl? I....umm i forget..her name"

I'm going crazy for sure. 

"Who? Prachi? I requested her but she has some important works...She promised me that she will come later...I didn't force her after that"

My heart fell. I closed my eyes helplessly.

"But Kukku is very close to her, right? What if Kukku miss her or denied to take treatment?"

I said desperately.

I have gone mad!

"I know Veer...But i can't force her...it's her choice"

"Hmm...by the way, what she do? I mean how do you know her?"

"She is an orphan.. She used to stay at Pratap's ex fiance's house...But then she leave that house due to some reasons...now she is staying with us and Pratap has offered her a job....soon she will join Pratap's office"

I felt something hard inside my chest. I disconnected the call without even saying her a good bye.

I lay on the bed without eating. I'm not feeling any appetite.

Myra called me at night. She is going in a tour with Tuhin di and Baivab. I wished her happy journey and placed the phone aside.

I'm doing wrong. This is wrong.

I spent the sleepless night by turning and tossing in my bed. Sleep was far away from me. Only I'm seeing her everywhere.

What is wrong with me????

Next morning i straightly walked in Pratap's office.

I will leave Mumbai in evening. I entered Pratap's cabin. As expected he got angry after seeing me.

"What the hell are you doing here?"

"Voice down...."

I took my position infront of him.

"From next time, keep your voice down while talking to me... I'm 2 years elder than you...also I'm the owner of your lands...If you can't respect me as your elder brother, then it's fine...But you have to be careful when talking to King of Kashi who has bought majority of your shares"

Pratap didn't say anything after that.

"Why did you came?"

He asked with a suppressed anger.

"I have planned to give you back few of your shares...for that you have to come with me in Kashi...I want to see your business skill and then I will decide whether to give you back your shares or not"

Pratap looked at me coldly.

"I have bought the shares of this company too...send me the name of your employees...I will pick up few names..they will work in my new project...if the venture become successful, you will get 40 percent of share"

Pratap looked at me in bit shock. He is not believing me I guess.

"Send me the names within two hours...the first meeting will be held tomorrow...so we have to leave in the evening...and if anyone of your employees denied to come, I will cancel this deal"

I stood up and left his cabin.

I have tried my level best. Now let's see what happens.

I selected the names. Obviously my first choice is Pihu. I did everything for that girl. I know this is something unethical but it's feeling so right? Why I'm not feeling any guilt from inside?

Pratap called me in the Evening and informed me that his five selected employees will come.

My heart danced in joy. I felt way too excited and happy.

Pratap will reach one day later. So I left with Rohini. I can't wait for next day. I have told Pratap to directly come in my mansion with his employees.

I don't know how am I going to spent these few hours!

Pihu's Pov

Everything is happening against my wish. I have tried hard to keep myself away from him but my destiny is bringing me towards him.

First in that hospital I saw him. He didn't see me that day because Pratap Ji came in between us.

Next, he saw my face. I was going to see Kukku. Suddenly I saw a kite flying in the sky. Some little boys were running to hold that kite. I always love kite. So i immediately got down and ran after it. I didn't know that my dream will appear true.

I always dreamt this. I'm running after a kite and Rajababu caught it before me.

This really happened that day. I can't describe how I felt that moment. I felt like to hug him tightly and cry. I trembled infront of him. Tears gathered into my eyes but before I could say anything, he lost consciousness.

I decided to take him to the hospital but suddenly Sona appeared from somewhere. She literally pushed me away and picked Rajababu in her car with the help of some local men and drove towards the hospital. I stood there with so many tears in my eyes.

That day I decided to leave. But then Rohini di stopped me. She wanted me to come with her in Kashi. I straightly said no. I can't go there. Myra told me how Baivab has manipulated Rajababu against me. I can't see his hate for me. Myra also get in danger if I go there.

Then Pratap ji told me about his deal with Rajababu. He told me that Rajababu has selected my name.

It felt like everyone is conspiring against me. If I say no to Pratap ji, it will be so selfish of me. So I agreed.

And now I'm standing here.

I'm standing outside the big gate. I have so many memories surrounding this place. It felt like everything just happened few hours back.

My father is worshipping in the temple and I'm selling flowers outside. Tears gathered into my eyes. I felt a chocking in my throat.

I looked at the mansion dreamily. I grew up around this place. I smiled broadly.  This is the happiness which I have missed for the last two years.

I still remember that 17 year old Pihu taking care of the garden and looking at the mansion eagerly just to get a single glance of her Rajababu.

This is....

My world...

Rajababu and my  world....

This is the place where my soul resides.

The world we had built together. Only filled with love, happiness and innocence. Those beautiful evenings, those stories which we shared in this garden lying side by side. Those nights when he kept his head on my lap and slept. Days of our fairy tale.

It was a fairy tale indeed.

Is it possible in reality that the prince charming fall for the cinderrela.

But it happened with me. He cared for me more than anything. He loved me more than anything.

My Rajababu

The reason of my breathing, the reason of my happiness...

I stared at the garden. We have planted so many beautiful flower plants together. Still i remember how he clapped happily whenever he saw a new flower. His smile was enough to make my day. I never wanted more in her life.

Just his happiness and his well being.

Just to see him happy and cheerful i have made those sacrifices and I'm ready to sacrifice more.

My trance broke with the deep sound of the car. I lost my balance and immediately fall back. I didn't noticed the car on my way.

I held my forehead in pain.

"I'm sorry.....are you alright?"

My all senses become alert and my heart skipped multiple times when i heard the voice.

I was dying to hear this voice. i have spent my dark silent nights only by imagining this voice. Only the vibes of this voice gave me strength to not loose hope. One day surely I will return to him.

Every rhythm of my heart is binding with this voice.

I slowly lift my head and met with those black orbs. The orbs that used to provide me comfort.

Tears formed into my eyes and I felt like to jump on his arms.

"Are you fine? I'm really very very sorry.....are you the new caretaker?"- He asked me.

I just shook my head and stood up with much difficulty. I ran from there immediately.

I reached on the road and now i cried out.

He didn't even recognised me! 

What could be more painful than this. I thought he will have his memory back. In some way I was cherishing this hope in the corner of my heart.

But

My Rajababu has forget my existence.

"Why did you run? Prachi...."

My eyes got widened. I wiped my tears and slowly turned my head.

I find Rajababu standing few meters away from me and looking at my way sharply.

"You are Prachi right? Or i can call you Pihu?"

My head started to spin. He walked near me and stood just infront of me. I looked into his eyes. He is staring at me calmly but

I felt his breathing getting high.

"You have to give me so many answers...better you should stop this hide and seek game with me..now you are under my observation"

I stood frozen. He grabbed my wrist and started to drag me inside his mansion.

I remembered the day when he said that I'm his family and he just dragged me inside his mansion like this.
