Naina was sitting in the kma mess. One month has been passed since that day. Naina has joined as assistant of shalini. Shruti has told everything to bc and then he allowed her to join.

Naina's work is to help shalini and also she took classes from her along with other cadets. Naina also got a room in girls hostel. She was sharing the room with pooja.

Pooja and she became very close during this month. Pooja is really very very nice to her. Naina loves to hear her funny stories. Ali, yudi and huda also became friends with her. They are all very much supportive and friendly. Naina always enjoyed their company. She enjoyed the fight of huda and yudi. Ali is little different and naina noticed that ali always steal glances of pooja. May be he was having a crush on her. But pooja is pooja, she always keep chanting about her ex rohit which makes ali sad, but pooja is unaware about ali's state.

When pooja slept, naina remains wide awake. She kept thinking about naveen. She cried and cried by remembering him. She only prayed to god to keep him safe wherever he is.

Another thing which naina maintained carefully is to stay away from rajveer. Whenever she saw rajveer, she changed her way. She didn't forget about the dream. The dream is still haunting her. It seems that god is giving her signals to stay away from rajveer. After that day she never talked to rajveer. Infact she never crossed his path. Whenever she saw him, her all body went numb out of fear.

Naina also noticed few things about rajveer these days. Whenever he gets irritated he scratched his forehead- the same habit which reminded her of Veransh. Rajveer never drink water between his meals- another one similar to Veransh. Naina also noticed that he always prefer milk at night. Veransh also have milk at night. Veransh didn't have the habit of drinking alcohol. These similarities of rajveer with Veransh increasing her fear day by day. So, she was maintaining distance from rajveer.

Though she always noticed that rajveer was very friendly with his cadets, and he is very helpful. Also he was very famous among cadets, specially among the girl cadets. They always drools over him. But he never paid any attention to any of them. Sometimes pooja uttered...

"Oye, yeh shahrukh kya gay hai? Kabhi kisi ladki ki taraf dekhta kyu nahi?"

Yudi replied,

"Koi gf hogi unki sayed, and he is a true gentleman, bohot zyada loyal hai apni gf ke sath"

"Hume bhi bilkul aisa hi lagta hai, vo bohot hi sarif aur tamizdar hai, sach kahe toh humne apni zindagi me peheli baar aisa insan dekha hai jo itne kaabil aur hunhaar ho aur sath hi me ek saccha aur achha insan bhi ho"

Naina was listening them silently, but she didn't comment. She adored rajveer so much in her heart for a long time, but why she suddenly became so scared of him?

She tried to fight with her fear multiple times, but always her instincts gave her the signal to stay away from rajveer. She tried to make herself understand that it was just a dream, nothing more. Veransh and rajveer are different. Its true that they share some similar habits, but that doesn't mean that they both are monsters. Its just a coincidence that Veransh got the face of rajveer's father, afterall ranveer singh shikhawat was his uncle, so the similarity is not so unnatural.

Naina took a deep breathe and she said,

"Acha main chalti hu, mam ko help karna hai"

She walked out but she bumped with a hard chest and lost her balance, but before she fall, Rajveer caught her waist by his arms.

Naina's heartbeat increased out of fear. Rajveer was standing so close to her. She started to sweat badly. Rajveer realised their closeness and he left her.

Raj- are u allright naina?

He asked in a very soft tone. The tone is full of concern. Naina looked up at his eyes. He is really different, his tone is so soft and calm. Naina nodded her head and left from there.

Rajveer looked at her direction for sometime. This girl is becoming like a mystery to him. Rajveer clearly sensed that something is really wrong with her. But the thing which rajveer noticed the most is that she is scared of him. Whenever she saw him, she started to tremble. This fact is disturbing rajveer very much. Why she feared him that much??? He never did anything to scare her. All the cadets of kma are very friendly with him, he is not like major nair or bc, then why she scared him that much??

Rajveer also noticed that she always avoides him. Whenever rajveer saw her, she just flew away some where. But she seemed happy with other persons, but why she always maintain a distance from rajveer? Rajveer decided to talk with her personally in this matter.

Naina was sleeping. The day was very much hectic for her. She was hell tired and immediately fall asleep as soon as she reached the bed.

Naina's sleep broken with someone's touch. Someone is shaking her. Naina slowly opened her eyes.

"Naina uth,,,chal, jaldi"

"Sone de na pooja, meko bht neend a rahi hai"- she said in a sleepy tone....

But pooja continue to shake her.

"Uth, kitna shoti hai, chal"

Naina woke up and rubbed her eyes. She looked at the table clock. It was 11:55 pm.

"Kaha jana hai itni raat ko?"

"Bhul gayi??? Tere inbox me ek bhi msg nhi rheta, saare delete maar deti hai"

Pooja pulled her and throws her a dress.

"Jaldi pehen aur chal"

"Par kaha"- she asked being confused....

"Oofffooo!! Aj shahrukh ka birthday hai,,tujhe 2 din pehele hi toh bola tha,,,toh hum unhe surprise karenge, ab chal jaldi, 12 bajne ko hai"

Naina stopped for sometime. Pooja came near her and sat.

"Kya baat hai naina??? Shahrukh ka baat sunte hi tu kaha kho jaati hai? Koi personal problm hai kya?"- she asked by holding her chin.

"Nhi....toh"

"Tujhe pata hai, captain rajveer best hai, kma me unke jaisa aur koi nahi,,,wo ladki bht lucky hogi jisse captain rajveer pyar karenge"

Naina smiled. She went to the washroom to change.

She came near the mirror and looked at herself. She is looking well. She has also gained 2 kgs in last month. She is far away from Veransh's torture, but she is only paining herself by thinking about something that is false.

(Sab log unki taarif karte hai, aur main humesha unhe Veransh se compare karti hu, wo dono bhai hai isiliye kuch adat ek jaisi hai, par iska matlab yeh nhi ki dono baki chizo me bhi ek jaise ho, rajveer sir ek ache insan hai, Veransh ki tarah janvar nhi hai, orato ki izzat karna jante hai, Reyansh humesha unki tarif karta tha,,,vo bilkul vese hai jaisa Veransh ne kaha tha,,main aur apne dimag ko thakana nhi chahti is baare me sochke, ab bass kar naina,,,tu Veransh se dur jaa chuki hai toh phir kyu uske sath Rajveer sir jaise insan ko compare kar rahi hai)

Naina smiled at herself and came out from the washroom. She is feeling quite well after thinking rationally.

After sometime they came near rajveer's room. Naina was little scared still she tried to remove all her fear. They knocked rajveer's door.

After sometime rajveer opened the door and he was shocked to see them.

"Tum log? Is waqt?"- he asked by creasing his brow.

Ali, pooja, huda, yudi entered hurriedly into his room and shouted....

"Happy birthday sir"

Naina entered slowly behind them.

Rajveer was amazed. He was not expecting this at all. First he became shy and embarrassed and then a bright smile appeared on his face.

"Guys, tum log bhi na....i mean.....yeh sab....I'm really feeling....."

"Sir ji, aapke liye kuch bhi, aap humare best teacher ho, toh aapke liye itna to banta hai"- huda said chirpily....

"Its really overwhelming, thank u guys, thanks a lot"- rajveer replied by smiling at them.

Naina was looking at rajveer from far. He was looking like a prince while he was smilling, his smile is really a delight to watch. It was heavenly.

Naina felt a pang of guilt for thinking that bad about rajveer. How stupid of her to think that foolish about someone only by relying on some dream.

Suddenly rajveer looked at naina and smiled. This time naina also smiled.

Rajveer came near her. This time she is not scared, instead her heart flutters with his closeness.

Raj- toh miss naina ah singh.....maine apko expect nhi kiya tha....

Naina lowered her gaze in embarrasment. May be he is thinking that she is a selfish girl. The man who brings her back to kma, she never uttered a simple thank u to him.

Naina- wo....

Raj- koi baat nhi.....par ek baat puchu?

Naina looked up at him.

Raj- are you scared of me naina?

Naina was feeling really embarrassed. This means that rajveer understood everything. Ofcourse!! He is an army officer. She can hide nothing from him. His eyes were everywhere.

Naina- nhi.....toh.....aapko...aisa...kyu laga....

Rajveer again smiled....

Raj- listen naina....main ek bohot hi sidha aur aam admi hu,,,,i know ki mera past behaviour tumhare sath accha nahi tha,,i am really sorry for my past mistakes, but plz be relax,,,,don't scared of me, hmm?? Main koi magarmach ya phir sher nhi hu.....i am captain rajveer singh shikhawat.....jo ki army se hai aur jo apni rozi roti ke liye kma me strategy aur communication ka class leta hai.....

The way rajveer said all this, suddenly makes naina laugh. She started to laugh.

Huda, pooja, ali and yudi also noticed that. They never saw naina laughing to that extent. And now, they are shocked to see her laughing with rajveer. And rajveer generally avoid to talk to girls but he is also laughing. They looked at each other and signalled each other with eyes.

Rajveer looked at naina. She was looking very innocent while smilling. Her smile is very pure and blissful. He kept looking at her, but after sometime he shifted his gaze to a different direction. Finally, they stopped smiling.

Naina- happy birthday sir....

Raj- thank u naina.....

Naina took out something from her pocket.

Naina- yeh aapke liye....

She said little shyly.

Rajveer took that surprisingly.

Raj- yeh?

Naina- aapka gift....wo mere pass aur kuch nahi tha...toh bass....yehi.....

It was a small box. Rajveer opened the box and a small gift came out from this box.



A small house made of cardboard. Rajveer was really amazed to see that.

Raj- yeh tumne banaya hai??

Naina nodded her head shyly.

Raj- oh my!! Its amazing... its wonderful naina, its really beautiful.....i really liked it....

Naina's heart flutters with rajveer's appreciation.

Naina- aapko acha laaga?

Raj- bht sundar hai....thank u...main humesha apne pass ise rakhunga....it really touched my heart...

They both looked at each other. Naina found that his eyes were full of warmth and care, no cruelty, no evil. Her all clouds full of doubt cleared while looking into those eyes. Infact she felt butterflies on her stomach.

Their trance broke with pooja's voice.

Po- let's cut the cake....sir ayiye jaldi....

Rajveer went and cut the cake and he feeds them with his hand one by one.

Hu- sirji,,,aap khayiye pehele,,,aapne toh khaya hi nahi.....

Rajveer smiled and scratched his forehead a little...

Raj- umm....main nhi kha sakta guys.....

They all looked confusingly at rajveer....

Yudi- i know....calorie problem, but sir you are very fit aur ek bite lene se kya hoga?

Raj- no guys....vo baat nhi hai....I'm allergic to strawberry,,,aur tum log strawberry cake laye ho, toh main nhi kha sakta....ek bhi bite liya toh mujhe rashes a jayenge aur breathing problm bhi.....

He mentioned hesitantly but naina goes all numb with this revelation. Her eyes were not even blinking.

Rajveer's ph rang immediately and he received the call.

Huda, pooja, ali and yudi started to argue...

Hu- saari galati is panjaban ki!!! Tujhe kaha tha maine ki pehele pata karle sir se....

Po- oye missed call chup ho ja, varna tera sar phor dungi hockey stick se...

Yu- guys relax....its okay...kal hum chocolate cake layenge sir ke liye....

But naina was not listening to them. She slowly took some steps backward and ran towards the girls hostel.

She came back to her room and sat on the bed by covering her face with her palms. She was breathing heavily. She was trying to forgot about the dream, she was trying to behave normal, but all these things were appearing infront of her eyes. She took her phone, and again she got an electric shock.

14th june. Today is 14 th june...Veransh's birthday!!!!!!!!!!!

Rani and kusum were shopping. Toady is rajveer's birthday, so they came here to bought rajveer's gift. Today rajveer will come in the evening.

They were on the way back to their home, suddenly kusum said,

Ku- mausi,,,apko pata hai Veransh ki wife lapata hai....

Rani was really shocked..

Ra- kya??? Kaise??

Ku- pata nhi,,,yeh baat toh Veransh ne media se chupake rakhi hai...

Ra- toh phir tujhe kaise pata chala...

Ku- mujhe mere ek dost ne bataya,, vo Reyansh ke sath parta hai, Reyansh nehi bataya use....aur maine suna hai ki....

Ra- kya suna???

Ku- wo apni wife ke sath thik tarah se pes nhi ata tha......aur wo pagalo ki tarah dhund raha hai apni biwi ko,,,bilkul pagal ho gaya hai wo.....

Ra- bhaiya gaari roko...

Ku- kya hua mausi?

Ra- tu ghar ja, main kuch der baad ati hu....

Ku- par yaha par bich sadak me?? Aap kaha jayengi? Main bhi chalti hu apke sath....

Ra- maine kaha na...tu ghar ja...

This time rani's tone was strict, so kusum obeyed her.

Rani started to walk fast and within 15 minutes she came near a building. She went inside and asked the receptionist.

"Dr. Ram Srivastava hai?"

"Ha, aap 3rd floor me jayiye"

"Thanks"

Rani waited for sometime, and then when her turn came she went inside. She greeted dr. Srivastava. He was an old doctor. His age is 65.

Sr- baithiye mrs. Shikhawat....toh batayiye kaise ana huya?

Ra- ji,,,mujhe aapse ek salah leni thi...

Sr- ha sure.....

Ra- aj rajveer ka janamdin hai,,,,vo aj 31 ho gaya hai,,, darasal main uski shadi ke baare me soch rahi thi.....

Dr. Srivastava think for a while and then he smiled...

Sr- toh karva dijiye shadi.....yeh toh achi baat hai.....

Rani took a sigh of relief...

Ra- par doctor.....are you sure? Koi problm toh nahi hogi na?

Sr- i don't think so.....rajveer already 30 cross kar chuka hai, toh mujhe nhi lagta ki agey koi khatra hoga....aur vese bhi rajveer ka will power bohot zyada hai......bass dhayan rakhiyega ki rajveer apni medicines time pe liya kare, aur kabhi bhi skip na kare....

Rani came out from the clinic happily. Today she will talk to rajveer about his marriage. She really want to see rajveer getting married and settling in life.

Raj- ab main mar jaunga.....mera pet phat jayega ma...bass.....

Rani- tere liye hi toh sab banaya hai.....

Raj- mere liye nhi pura kma ke liye banaya hai, i guess.....mujhe apne cadets ko bhi sath lana chahiye tha,,,main koi rakshas nhi hu jo akela sara khana kha jaunga.....

Rajveer knew it is futile to argue with her, so he continue to eat. After sometime rani hesitantly asked,

Rani- raj.....wo.....mujhe tujhse kuch baat karni hai....

Raj- hmmm...

Rani- raj.....ab tu shadi karle....

Rajveer stopped eating and looked at rani unbelievably....

Raj- what???

Rani- aj main mazak nhi kar rahi hu....aj sachme request kar rahi hu....

Rajveer left the food and stands up abruptly...

Raj- sab kuch jante huye bhi aap aisa bol rahi ho ma???? Main selfish nhi hu.....main apna akelapan door karne ke liye kisi aur ki zindagi barbad nhi kar sakta....

Rani- kisiki zindagi barbad nhi hogi....tujhse jo ladki shadi karegi, vo bht khus naseeb hogi,,, tu laakhon me ek hai beta....

Tears gathered on her eyes.....

Rajveer smiled at her....

Raj- duniya ki sabseye badd kismat ladki hogi....aap janti hai na ki main kaun hu??? Meri asliyat toh apko pata hai na?? Toh phir???

Rani cried out....

Rani- ha janti hu....tu mera beta hai....tere jism me mera khun hai.....

Raj- ha ma....main apka beta hu.....par main jaisa dikhta hu vesa nhi hu yeh aap bhi janti hai......
